ABOUT
Tad Snidecor

Tad Snidecor is a retired U.S. Marine First Sergeant, an Arizona native, and a longtime Peoria resident dedicated to building a stronger, safer, and more connected community. After 20 years of active-duty military service, Tad continued his commitment to public service by leading suicide prevention and mental health programs for service members and veterans, helping to launch the DSTRESS helpline with TriWest Healthcare Alliance.
Today, he serves as Chair of the Peoria Veterans Board, a board member for Soldier’s Best Friend, and an advisor with First Page — among many other roles. He’s also a youth sports coach, a local advocate, and a proud parent and homeowner in the Palo Verde District.
With over 30 years of leadership experience in business, logistics, crisis response, healthcare, and government operations, Tad brings a unique blend of hands-on service and strategic thinking to the table. In 2024, he was inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame — a reflection of his enduring commitment to community and country.
For Tad, running for City Council isn’t the beginning of public service — it’s the next chapter in a lifetime of it.
